Where the numbers come from
Quince publishes an itemized cost table on its product pages. Every figure here is read
from the data those pages ship, and the total is rebuilt with the same formula the site's
own code uses: materials plus hardware, crafting, packaging, freight & handling, card
fees, and duties where non-zero.
Checked against the Japanese Lotus Tee in Heather Grey, size S — $31.88 of
cost against a $29.90 price.
Priced per unit
Cost varies by colour and size, so each purchasable unit is evaluated on its own. The
same tee runs -$1.98 in Heather Grey and -$1.52 in Black, on one shelf price.
Cost records belonging to other storefronts travel in the same payload and are left
out, matching what the page itself displays.
Suspect entries
A handful of products carry figures that cannot be real — a $45 card fee on a $20 item,
a 219% duty rate. They are hidden by default and marked when shown, because they are
genuinely what the page displays but plainly a feed error.
